Design/Build Various Operations & Maintenance Facilities

This Design/Build project includes renovations and alterations to four buildings: A three story housing building renovation included reconfiguring temporary housing to provide hotel type rooms with private restrooms, coffee maker and microwaves for each housing unit as well as several suites with separate living/kitchenette spaces. Accessible guest rooms and suites are provided as well as a conference room, staff offices and building service areas. The exterior of the block and concrete structure received an EIFS finish system and standing seam metal roof. A new covered drop off area was provided with driveway, retention area and landscaping.

The dining/fitness renovation included complete interior renovation. Separate entries for each function were provided allowing the fitness center to enlarge. The locker and shower areas were increased and saunas added. Existing abandoned freezers and restrooms were removed and an exercise room and classroom added. The dining room received new finishes, new restrooms, larger window openings and a covered patio for dining, resulting in a much brighter, and more usable space. Both facilities were made handicapped accessible.

The hangar facility renovation included complete renovation of administrative areas, addition of tool room area within the hangar bay and re-insulation of the hangar walls and fire suppression for the facility. An addition for the fire pump equipment was provided. A portion of the roof was replaced and miscellaneous repairs to the building were made.

The administrative building renovation included complete renovation of the interior spaces, an addition for a new chiller/air handler, and replacement of exterior windows throughout as well as a new standing seam roof and fire suppression system.
