DHS 28 Dorm Area Renovations

This project is to renovate a dormitory located on the old Fort McClellan for use of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP). Provides incidental design and construction for the turnkey facility renovation for immediate occupation of one 30,399 ft. dormitory building. The renovation shall produce a lodging facility that is fully functional. There shall be options available to renovate an adjacent administration building (4,847 ft2), install a WiFi array to service 28 DeKalb Court and 44 DeKalb Court, and to install an emergency backup power system to support the dormitory and administration building.
