Southeast Cherokee Construction, Inc. was incorporated December 2, 1983 in the State of Alabama. We are a privately owned corporation with a Vertical Division Office in Abbeville, Alabama and Horizontal Division Offices in Montgomery, Alabama and Wetumpka, Alabama. We currently have project offices serving the following Government Facilities: Hurlburt Field, Florida; Robins AFB, Georgia; Environmental Protection Agency, Maxwell/Gunter AFB, Alabama and Environmental Protection Agency, Gulf Ecology Division, Florida.
Mrs. Lynn M. Carter serves as sole officer of the corporation, retaining 100% stock interests. The purpose for which the corporation was organized is to conduct general building, contracting and construction business, including erecting, constructing, enlarging, improving, repairing, altering, renovating, or otherwise engaging in any work upon buildings, structures, roads and properties of all kinds and description.

Recent Project
Project involves the renovation of the east and west wings of Building 1402 at Maxwell AFB, AL. Each wing has approximately 15,000 SF area which is utilized for training purposes. The renovation provides new finishes throughout the facility including new mechanical and plumbing systems. Extensive data and communication systems are being installed for use during training. Work is being performed in phases with a completion date of October 2008.
