Tracking Equipment Support Facility

This design-bid-build project involved the construction of a single multi-bay 15,375 SF insulated metal building system. The facility consisted of a total of (6) drive-thru bays. These bays were as follows:
 Three (3) 25 ft. by 75 ft. drive-thru bays with 16 ft. overhead coiling doors.
 Two (2) 35 ft. by 75 ft. drive-thru bays with 20 ft overhead coiling doors
 One (1) bay with a heavy truck lift.
The facility included a 10-ton overhead electric crane, an enclosed technician work area, work/customer area, and restrooms. Supporting facilities included connection to necessary utilities, 680 SY of 10-inch-thick concrete vehicle aprons, 34,400 SF of 12-inch crushed aggregate hardstand asphalt, perimeter fence with security gates, emergency vehicle access, a serpentine bike rack, landscaping and site improvements. 86 ft. standoff AT/FP measures and access for individuals with disabilities were also provided.

Features of work included demolition, concrete, structural steel, rough carpentry, laminate clad architectural casework, air barriers, steel doors, frames and hardware, overhead coiling doors, aluminum windows and blinds, insulated translucent fiberglass wall panel assemblies, gypsum board and acoustical ceilings, resilient and resinous flooring, carpeting, painting, interior and exterior signage, toilet accessories, metal building systems with insulated standing seam metal roofing, wet pipe fire protection system, plumbing, HVAC system, commissioning of HVAC system, DDC, vehicle exhaust system, gas-fired heating system, natural gas and LP gas distribution system, electrical system, lightning protection, fire alarm and mass notification system, earthwork, clearing and grubbing, concrete paving, seeding and sodding, water distribution system, sanitary sewer system, storm drainage system, 6-inch fire water line, electrical distribution system, cranes, building information system and all LEED requirements.
