Design-Build Sitewide Pavement Refurbishment
A sitewide pavement refurbishment comprising of Trent Lott Blvd. and Access Roads.
Tret Lott Blvd.:
Work involves milling and overlaying asphalt pavement to a minimum depth of two (2) inches with entrances and driveways maintaining a smooth transition and a smooth transition between concrete and asphalt interface(s) as well as striping, installing raised pavement markers (reflectors).
The existing four-lane divided highway has an average lane width of twelve (12) feet with varying shoulders and a grass median. Work will extend pavement repair a minimum of six (6) inches into the shoulders to ensure smooth transitions. The existing striping shall act as the delineation between the travel lane and shoulder.
Access Roads:
There are two (2) types of work for the three (3) access roads encompassing B-2204.
One (1) type requires removal and replacement at a minimum of seven (7) inches of asphalt pavement. The second type is a one (1) inch mill and overlay refurbishment of the two (2) roads that run east/west and connect to Endeavour Blvd.
Work involves laying asphalt pavement back to the original elevation. All intersections and ramps to
building shall maintain a smooth transition. The road width varies from approximately twenty (20) feet to seventy-three (73) feet.
